Projects

Girl Scouts brings every scout's dreams to life and works to build a better world. Through programs from coast to coast, Girl Scouts of all backgrounds and abilities can be unapologetically themselves as they discover their strengths and rise to meet new challenges—whether they want to climb to the top of a tree or the top of their class, lace up their boots for a hike or advocate for climate justice, or make their first best friends. Backed by trusted adult volunteers, mentors, and millions of alums, Girl Scouts lead the way as they find their voices and make changes that affect the issues most important to them.

Care to Share Cookies

As one of our Troops leaders, Jodie Fillhardt (a.k.a. Fat Mama) has inspired our girls to invest in their global citizenship by providing small comforts to children displaced by the crisis in Ukraine. Donating Girl Scout Cookies is just the first project our Troop is taking on to show Ukrainian children that we love and support them. While a box of cookies might not change the world, they can bring a smile to the face of a Ukrainian child placed in a difficult situation.

Comforts of Home

Upon Troop Leader Jodie's return our Girl Scouts will create a service project in support of Ukrainian children. Jodie's trip will help inform our efforts so that we can put together "comforts of home" care packages filled with items specific to the comfort needs of children. These packages will then be distributed by aid workers in Poland.

If you would like to purchase a box of cookies or support our "comforts of home" packages please send an email to GST15521@gmail.com.
